a mouse in our house!
So everyone- we had a mouse in our house- yikes! We set some traps and could NOT catch the thing UNTIL last night. I saw it scurry into our spare room and Larry and I, thru some pretty impressive teamwork, managed to wrangle it into our humane live trap! Success! Meet Gus Gus our little (adorable in my opinion) mouse.

wow!!! congrats on getting it, and I would have to say that he does look cute.
So I came home the next day and Larry had gotten a cage, bed, food, and a water dispenser. We sat and watched him for about 10 min. and then he escaped out the closed door. The latch holes were too wide and he could fit thru....so Gus Gus is loose again!
That is too funny that he got out! Seriously, do you really want him for a pet?
haha. This is hilarous. Gus Gus is way cuter than the fat ugly mouses that use to live in our bread drewer in La Crescenta. I caught one with a cup once.
update: gus gus is still at large... and yes, when we recapture him, and we will, we are going to keep him. he is just really cute especially when he eats with his little paws:)
RECAPTURED!!! Larry and I woke up to a mouse in our trap again. So now Larry is working on custom fitting the door so that little Gus Gus can not escape again:)
That is too cute. I think we need to see another picture of Gus Gus in his new home.
