Graduation Recovery

Hi Family!
This is so fun... my first blog on our page! I am sitting here with Beth on my bed talking about life just like we have done since we were little. It almost feels like nothing has changed, yet somewhere along the way we have grown up.
Also, Beth encouraged me that I have been greatly lacking in the area of posting on here! =)

So, I thought it would be fun to post some pictures from my Graduation from last weekend. Since I would have love loved if you were all there!

It has been a whirlwind of a year working my youth ministry job at church plus being in charge of a dorm at Biola and at the same time trying to finish up my degree. The last few weeks have been even more surreal as I realized what a large milestone that was approaching.

God has been so so faithful throughout my time in Seminary. As I was standing at Graduation trying to take in all what was happening we stood up and began to sing "Great is Thy Faithfulness" which I realized in that moment with some tears in my eyes this was the theme in my life these last few weeks: GREAT is HIS faithfulness. I realized it is His faithfulness that has brought me here and gotten me through school and it is His faithfulness that has helped me do something as audacious as try study Him and His Word, and it is His faithfulness that is going to guide and direct my future ministry.
Praise the Lord!

And let the summer vacation begin!.....

Debbie I am so proud of you for graduating and all of your accomplishments. Issaac and I wish we could have been there. I so agree with Luanne about graduations feeling surreal.
